The new H&R Block World Headquarters building is a 400,000 sqft 18 story tower in Kansas City. Within gthe complex is a 15,000 sq ft, Tier 3 mission critical data center; amenity spaces such as a kitchen, a cafeteria, corporate training rooms; and retail spaces that communicate with the adjacent streets and developing entertainment districts. Sustainable design measures include high-efficiency chillers with variable speed drives, and and water side economizers, underfloor air disrtibution, demand based ventilation and metal halide and compact fluorescent lighting.
