M-E Engineers provided the mechanical and plumbing design for this 700,000 sq ft addition to the existing Convention Center which doubled the size of the facility. The expansion included 600,000 s.f. of exhibit space, 35,000 s.f. of meeting space, a new 50,000 s.f. ballroom, 5,000 fixed seat auditorium, a pedestrian bridge between the convention center and the performing arts complex and a new 1,000 space parking garage. The Colorado Convention Center is the 6th largest convention center west of the Mississippi, and 15th largest in the nation.
