Multi-year $50M project to upgrade existing medical center Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure. Work includes renovation of 15 operating rooms, realignment of boiler plants, new 4,500 ton chiller plant, expansion of existing cooling tower system, new 2.5 MW generator plant, replacement of 30 air handlers, replacement of 40 exhaust and return fans and replacement of existing medical air and vacuum systems. Work is sequenced and phased, with temporary equipment where required, to allow the facility to continue normal operations during this invasive 5 year project. Project permitted, reviewed and inspected by NYS OGS.
