The new home of the Minnesota Twins baseball club is a 39,500 seat open air ballpark nestled into the downtown grid. The facility is well integrated into transportation and is surrounded on all sides by freight lines, light rail, an interstate highway and elevated roadways. In addition to numerous concessions the building features 54 suites, two themed restaurants, a homeplate area lounge, the Metro Club dining area and a left field terrace. The Twins administrative offices and a light rail to commuter rail transfer station are also adjacent to the stadium. The building was awarded a LEED Gold rating by the USGBC and received the highest LEED point rating of any MLB ballpark.
