M-E Engineers provided full MEP design services for this new hospital which will replace the existing Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and be the largest full service hospital in the Santa Barbara region. The project includes a 470,000 sq ft new hospital and 337-bed Acute Care Medical Center with 160,000 sq ft Nursing wings, a 280,000 sq ft Diagnostic and Treatment Building. Major utilities are distributed from a 26,000 sq ft Central Plant.
